Kakheti
If you’re looking for a place that has beautiful mountains, lakes, waterfalls and wineries, gorgeous landscapes, cave monasteries and history on every corner, delicious food and locals who treat every guest as if they were an angel, look no further than Kakheti.
Set to the east of the capital Tbilisi, Kakheti expands for 11.3 square kilometers and you could easily spend a week travelling around it. Some of the main attractions can be reached in about 2 hours by car.
If you are familiar with Georgian wine, you have likely heard of Kakheti Region. The nation’s foremost wine region, it produces nearly three-quarters of the country's wine grapes, which are grown on land that has been dedicated to viticulture for thousands of years.

Gombori Pass
The shortest route from the capital to Telavi goes through this magnificent mountain pass. Although 1620 m above the sea level is by no means considered very high by local standards, landscapes visible from here are undoubtedly great.

Signagi
Signagi is a small beautiful town in the Kakhetian region. About 10 years ago it was the forgotten dull town, which, after extensive restoration has become a delightful civilized tourist center with cobbled streets and cozy houses with bright red tile roofs. The town’s architecture is made in the style of southern Italian classicism. There have also been built a number of hotels and guest houses corresponding to any taste and preferences. Signagi is also known as “the town of love”, and the reason iof that is a special wedding house, where you can get married at any time without prior delivery of documents.

Bodbe Monastery
The monastery of St. Nino is located in the village of Bodbe, in the Sighnaghi region, Kakheti. The territory of the monastery is decorated with flower beds and bushes, vineyards and a healing spring. The history of the monastery is closely connected with the adoption of Christianity.

Kakhetian Traditional Winemaking
Kakhetian Traditional Winemaking Factory (Kakhetian Traditional Winemaking” is one of the largest wine and spirits producing companies in Georgia and the Caucasus region. Established in 2001, KTW produces wine, brandy, sparkling wine, and chacha with traditional Georgian techniques mixed with the state of art technologies. This allows the company to preserve an old, unique taste of wine and create its own signature style to spread to the world. We will have the possibility to visit the wine factory and try 5 types of Georgian wine and 10 years of Brandy.
